Train the Trainer

A three day course to prepare students who wish to request certification by MSHA as an approved instructor under the Part 48 training requirements. The course will cover MSHA regulations, adult learning, records, and developing and conducting training programs.

Safety Seminar 2018

Topics for the seminar will include presentations from Attorneys, MSHA, EMCIS staff, and Industry Safety Consultants.  Two prominent MSHA attorneys, Mark Savit with Husch Blackwell, and Laura Beverage from Jackson Kelly have accepted invitations to speak along with MSHA local district managers or their designee.

The seminar will be exploring fatigue in mining, indicators for determining alertness, factors affecting your brain and how this relates to safety, as well as the MSHA updates.

All topics are relevant to today’s mining industry and should appeal to Mine Managers, Safety Personnel, Human Resources Managers, Union Personnel, and Contractors in the Mining Industry.

First Aid

Training follows the American Red Cross guidelines and combines lecture, interactive video demonstrations featuring emergency scenarios that are likely to occur in a variety of environments and hands-on training to teach participants life-saving skills.
