Searchable Mining Fatality Database
This program is designed to create a tool for safety professionals to use to search MSHA fatality reports to gain information for Accident Prevention Training. Microsoft Excel and Adobe Reader software is needed to utilize the database.
MSHA Fatalgrams and fatality reports provide an excellent resource for examining accidents, determining causes, and for use in accident prevention. This database can be used in individual mine accident prevention programs.
Reports for the latest 5 years are compiled in pdf format and populated with key words so the database can be searched for common accident causes that may be of interest to individual companies.
To access the Mining Fatality Database, please call the MSHP Main Office at (303) 278-0710, or email Mr. Alex Robles, Program Coordinator for Mine Rescue, at arobles@mines.edu
