Janet Torma-Krajewski, Ph.D., CIH, CPE

Dr. Torma-Krajewski has over 40 years experience and education in ergonomics and industrial hygiene. She has worked in an oversight role, as well as a consultant, field ergonomist and industrial hygienist, program manager, team/project lead and lead researcher. She has both private and public sector experience. Dr. Torma-Krajewski has published articles in professional journals; and has given many presentations at national and international conferences. She has professional certifications in both ergonomics and industrial hygiene and is also an MSHA-approved mine safety and health instructor for both surface and underground mines.

  

Robert Ferriter, PE, CMSP

Mr. Robert Ferriter has over 40 years of experience, including 26 years of service with the US Mine Safety and Health Administration, a federal agency responsible for protecting the health and welfare of U.S. miners. During his time with this agency, his duties extended to nearly every facet of mine safety, where the scope of activities included engineering, technical analysis, training, accident investigations, audits and assessments, policy and regulation development, technical opinions and expert testimony, enforcement, supervision and administration. Mr. Ferriter is a Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado, and is also a Certified Mine Safety Professional and an MSHA-approved mine safety and health instructor for both surface and underground mines and mine rescue. 

  


  Jerry Powers, CMSP

Mr. Jerry Powers has over 35 years of experience in mine safety and health including 28 years in private industry, 5 years with a regulatory agency, and 5 years of private consulting and training within the mining industry as well as general industry. Mr. Powers has a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University and a Master’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado. Mr. Powers is a Certified Mine Safety Professional, past Chairman and current Director Emeritus of the Colorado Mining Association, and an MSHA-approved mine safety and health instructor for both surface and underground mines.
