Underground Search and Rescue Training
The CSM MSHP is offering three mine rescue training courses that focuses on effective communication and decision-making during mine emergency responses utilizing an incident command center structure. These courses are for either underground mine rescue teams or other rescue teams who may be required to perform rescues in underground structures, such as subway systems, tunnels, etc. Either novice or experienced rescue teams will find this training useful. The three courses can be taken as stand alone courses or they can be combined for up to two days of training (Incident Command Center, Mine Rescue Computer Simulator, and Underground Rescue Exercises at the Edgar Mine).
